    Slow start, and a bad finish. Can't say I'm surprised we are nowhere to be found.

    Well, recruiting just got tougher in Iowa and the Midwest. Our dominance in the state will be challenged, as Iowa has hired a very, very good coach in Bond Shymansky. He did great things at Georgia Tech and Marquette. CJL's job to acquire talent will get harder now.

    Some good news - Texas lost their top assistant, and ace recruiter, Salima Rockwell, to Penn State, where Texas hired her away from in the first place. Rumors are she could be the HC heir apparent for Russ Rose when he retires. Rockwell was the reason Waterloo's Eckerman became a Longhorn, as well as many other elite players. Maybe Texas will be easier to recruit against now...

    So PsU kind of did to UT in volleyball what they did to ISU in wrestling.
