Good to see Doc getting another chance. I think this will help ISU in the long run. If we can continue to place assistant coaches into head coaching possitions we will continue to get quality assistant coaches for a few years at a time. Bring in Frank Haith...

Congrats to Doc. I think Fred learned a lot from Doc this past year. Fred has had some great assistants. Fred knows how to surround himself with great people.

I would rather lose Doc than Abdelmassih. MA is too vital for recruiting.

We will come out on top of this. Hoiberg's phone will probably be ringing non-stop over the next few days.

The experienced assistant did all the real coaching and Fred will be fall apart without Bobby Lutz, er, T.J. Otzelberger, er, Doc Sadler around!

Take it for what it's worth but my sources are saying Doc is leaving because of a forthcoming NBA decision by Hoiberg.

Darn, but good luck Doc. I'm thinking my first call would be Jeff Bdzelik.

Very interesting how Cyclone fans took to Doc Sadler. When he was first hired, some people were bemoaning the fact that ISU lost TJ as an assistant and we were "stuck" with Doc. Over the course of the year, he starting getting a "cult" type following. At KC when he cut down his portion of the net, the fans roared their approval, pretty darn impressive for a 1 year member of the staff.
    Congratulations Doc!
