One more reason not to have dish as most B12 is FS1 affiliated being in central US. They pass along the exorbitant costs of ESPN. Perhaps they are in bed with ESPN. Hey, maybe they think this will not be noticed by B12 and PAC 12 fans.

I bet there will be a ton of people next Saturday with Dish who know that the game is on FS1 and that they have FS1, who will be very unhappy when they flip the channel there and don't see football.

Wow, that's garbage. Even on my guide right now under the game timeslot it says "Event not available", & tells you to go to the www.dishsportsvalue.com to see why. Right now they only have 4 games listed as not being carried, but says they'll keep it updated.

Doesn't affect me yet since I'll be at the opener, but I hope they get it figured out sooner than later.

So they have no problem passing on additional charges for SEC and Big10 networks, but for BigXII and PAC12 games they are unwilling to pass those on? I've loved my dish service, but this is a deal breaker and I will be switching. I'm not really worried about the first game since I won't be home anyways, but KSU is also on there and I'd expect plenty more games as the channels are announced.

WTH they agreed to carry the channel but can now block specific programs? That's BS, guess I will be sticking with DirecTV.

I am guessing that FOX has an agreement with Dish for them to carry FS1, but now FOX is requiring an additional payment for the channel to carry these football games. Not really the same as with the conference networks.

I don't really hate this; Dish has long been a cheaper alternative to DirecTV. If you want the games you will need to pay for them and go with DirecTV. If you don't, then you don't pay for them and keep Dish.

I told Dish that I am willing to pay for them. I will continue to tell Dish that. They will eventually pay for them because Fox Sports One will require it to carry the entire channel when the contract comes up for renewal. If they don't, they will lose MLB and lose more customers. So why not just do the inevitable.

This reeks of ESPN involvement after settling the lawsuit with Dish. Now suddenly Dish carries the stupid SEC network but won't be showing football game on a so called national network trying to directly compete with ESPN. How do you think it would go if the blocked all of the games on say, ESPN U? I now double hate ESECPN. Greedy mouse bastards.
