This is sickening. The "rent-a-cops" should of contacted the real police and the p.o.s. should of been arrested. I can't even see the hawkeyes pulling something like this.

Not necessarily UCONN's fault, but apparently a couple of ISU fans were escorted out of the stadium from trying to bring it to stadium officials attention.

Yea Zane just texted me..he's hopped up on pain killers doing better. I think he was more ****** about not being at the game than anything. He's a Senior and on the athletic training team and this would likely be his last fb game as Cy due to the commitments of being an athletic trainer.

He really should press charges, just for the principle of the matter.

Again, I'm hoping this makes some noise all around the NCAA in the morning!

If true they escorted ISU fans for bringing this to attention, it is inexcusable. Especially because they probably flew out for the game and missed the 2nd half.

Definitely. Why would you not? They punk will just do it again to someone else. I wouldn't let someone get away with this. Hopefully someone will talk him into it.

I've seen people post saying they have video of it. No reason for the culprit to not at least get some community service out of this. It looked like a White Sox game out there tonight.

Actually, the fan falling out of the stands might have been there fault if the railing wasn't the right height.

The Stowe lawsuit blames inadequate lighting, generally insufficient security, and a lack of response from staff after continual harassment of the victim during the game (thus the negligence issue).

Some ****head UConn pushes Cy down the stairs...I don't see how this has anything to do with security or negligence.

Please let me be clear, I'm not defending the actions...just don't see how this is the university's fault. It's the fault of some loser in the stands.

It would certainly be a good move on the school's part to ban that guy from future UConn events. That's part of the suggestion I made to the AD (and I'm sure he cares what I think. :jimlad:).

Not usually the type to push litigation, but this is a case where one should.
    Heal fast & well, Cy

And this didn't get a flag from the officials either.
Sorry to jest about this serious matter. Was really P'd off about officiating, then this. Inexcusable.

Yeah, reminds me, get well soon CY. If nothing else, you are usually the face of the University and represent us well. We need you.

The university owns the stadium, therefore it is their responsibility to provide adequate security for the game. The university has insurance to cover accidents in the stadium.

So this was a matter of inadequate security?

Whatever the legal ramifications are, it would be a nice gesture for UConn to offer to pay the medical bills and ban the attackers from future events.

'no, actually we kicked out some cyclone fans (according to someone on here) who tried to report it'
