This shocked me. Marquette must be stunned.

    Yep. And yep.

Plus Marquette doesn't have a president or an AD right now.

Would Noskowiak even come here with a Freshman PG and another PG in his class. I'd take him in a heartbeat for next year, especially if he can shoot

The SEC and Pac 12 will have better years, but there's a real question of where the MWC, Big East, A10 and American will sort out in terms of quality. There are kind of 4 tiers of conferences now, top 5 leagues, those 4 somewhat major conferences, traditional mid majors like WCC and MVC, then the minors.

    Here nor there
Noskowiak is a Class of 2015 recruit, so we do not have a PG in his class. He can shoot, and like Morris, can play both guard spots. He would be a big-time get and I do not see him worrying about not getting immediate major playing-time here.

I think the A-10 will be the best out of the MWC, Big East, and American.
Rank: A-10, MWC, Big East, American

What is everyone gut feeling on whether Marquette will be able to replace Buzz with a big name? I know I've seen rumor articles about them sniffing around Howland and Shaka Smart. Do they have a chance at those types of guys with the reduced prestige of the new Big East? Personally I'd love it if they were forced to settle for say Green Bay's coach or something like that.

Greg Marshall could very well be in the mix. He has probably maxed out what he can do with the Shockers. He supposedly sees Marquette as a school that can provide better resources for basketball.

So long Buzz. This is my favorite thing Buzz Williams did and it happen to be to one of our favorite fanbases.

it probably sounds crazy, but i bet he's going to wait to see who they hire first and then make a decision.

I was talking with a guy tied to a local NBA team back in December that Buzz was floating his name in the NBA circles. Guess that didn't really take off.
