    I know the announcer kept saying Krick, but he's a true freshman walk-on (and is white). Anybody have any idea who the real #92 was? (Nothing on the Cyclones.com player roster)

    Media/Home Theater PC?

    So, I'd love to dump the Dish and jump into a media PC. Has anyone built their own? I'd connect one to our 32" LCD (which already includes a TV tuner) and would like locals, plus any other available channels. A friend of mine who runs a PC shop told me it'd run around $750 to build one with 1TB...

    Harlan H.S. Kicker

    Was at the Carroll/Harlan game last night and had a chance to watch Harlan's kicker, Trent Wendt warm up. He has a HUGE leg! Did some great punting, plus kickoffs and field goals. At one point, he was easily knocking through 45 yd. field goals (plus hit a 47 yarder during the game)...

    Gilstrap to try out for Mavs today

    Came across this today... Dallas Mavericks Blog - ESPN Dallas (The Mavs have the 50th pick) The blogger mentioned he played mostly power forward at ISU... I thought he played more small forward. Not sure if he'll get drafted... Could get a shot via free agent deal. Your thoughts?

    I just received notification from Netflix that my streaming disc was sent out recently and should arrive Monday. Anyone else looking forward to streaming to their TV (that doesn't have it already)? I'll be curious what kind of quality the Wii outputs...

    Carroll's newspaper had an article today about Blake walking on at IA. He's a life-long fan and wants to try playing QB at IA. I'm pretty surprised he didn't get an offer from UNI.
