Blair, Nebraska has 1000's of car parked outside within like 1 sq. mile. It seems to me to be a risky deal to insure. How do they do it?

I'm sure whatever premium they pay reflects the relative risk. That's sort of the way insurance works.

I've bought from them before. They offered my $1k better deal then the local Mazda dealer without physically seeing my trade in.

I'm willing to drive 120 miles for 1k

The dealership will have a "hail sale " and discount the cars a fraction of what they get back from the insurance company. The dealership will do very well with hail damaged cars.

It's a massive dealer. Probably sell more pickups than just about anyone else in the country.

They are the largest F-series Ford dealer in the nation and the 2nd largest Ford dealer for all models. They are also highly ranked on many of the other lines that they carry. They took advantage of some tax savings by locating in Blair outside of Omaha/Douglas County.

This. Have a friend who works at a big dealership and they love hail storms. Sell the cars for less and make enough from insurance to profit.
