If this is their advertising campaign, they can't possibly have high hopes for the season.

I think it shows higher hopes than the Bulls' "thick and thin" campaign a while back. This one is kind of corny though.

how can they do that? isnt that copy write some how?

Making a parody is not copywriting. Otherwise there wouldn't be any parodies of songs (covers as well), commercials, or movies on youtube or any other such medium.

I like those helmets, though.

Hadn't realized they got new ones ... from a quick web check, not sure if they'll still have the ILLINI design alternate (and orange-on-blue I version).

"Whatever Is Needed"? Sounds like an ad for Kum & Go, not a motto for a football team.

Struck me as a saying to mean "no selfishness" or something like that. We'll do whatever is needed to win, checking egos at the door.

I don't know, it's not the most clever, but really, most sports team mottos aren't that clever.

Not totally terrible. Not very inspiring either. It wouldn't make me want to buy tickets.

What it really does, is make me appreciate our marketing dept - they really do a phenomenal job.
