Its pretty incredible how new all of those facilities are, and they already seem outdated due to the crazy arms race nationwide. And I know they have already done a renovation or two there to enhance a few areas.

While I'm still in the NCAA amateurism is ridiculous category, show me this next time I complain about college athletes being exploited.
Yep, and crazy thing is compared to most Power 5 schools football facilities I would say ISU's are probably around average or so.

Facilities look pretty good but does the press box seem "rinky dink" to anyone else?

I imagine that the press box is on the short list of things to address. Lol, I remember how big of a deal it was when the current one was built.

If there is area that doesn't need to be renovated often it's the press box. Although maybe that will get Iowa state better pr

Pretty sure the next thing they were wanting to address was getting a players lounge.

"Press box" do the recruits or fans care about that? Tell me what I am missing in this other than visual.

If they address the press box you can be assured it is going to come with a several suites they can sell. I would say this is on a list of wishes for JP, but not until their is sustained success for the football program.

Did the players lounge get approved? that is the next football upgrade.

I still don't understand why they weren't content with the Jacobsen building.

In the college football arms race, newer & bigger is ALWAYS better. If this program can string together a couple of successful campaigns, the press box will be expanded for more revenue suites.

I understand a players lounge, that is a good thing. We have suites and club level areas.
