Posters up in the Gerdin Business Building are saying there is going to be a Major Gift Announcement made at 10:30-11 in 1148 Gerdin (Auditorium) on Friday. Not 100% positive on the time

Not to get anyone's hopes up, but maybe the major gift is money for Jack Trice Renovation?

I'm thinking that if it were for JTS, the announcement wouldn't be at the Gerdin building.

The gift is from me. Your welcome everybody. My donation will make it possible for every ticketholder to have their very own box seat with built in beer taps.

yeah it is probably for something worthless like money for new classrooms or computers and other things that don't matter.

I was flipping through channels last night and on the Mediacomm connections channel Kevin Cooney was hosting some show talking about Iowa State. They were talking about how the University is on a campaign pushing for $800 million dollars. The part I saw was about how the Business College would get $42 million to spend on faculty improvement and scholarships. Is that all $42 million gets you these days?

I think the University should invest some of that into it's athletics. Studies have shown that having better teams increases enrollment!
