that and ku fans consider him a cancer on the team - particularly for younger players, i.e. he's a horrible role model. some fans have said that self almost kicked him off the team during the tournament for horseplay of one sort or another. i believe 90% of kansas fans are glad he's gone, whatever the reason. personally, i believe self showed him the door: "either leave quietly, or you'll be cut."
