Anyone know if he is a Hawk or Clone fan? Would love to see this kid throwing to Lazard.

I'll be interested in watching how he progresses. I watched him tear apart a really good Xavier defense with perfect throws in that state championship game.

6'1" qb...wonder if he's still growing. Either way...good to get in state recruits. After Lanning graduates we're going to need a qb ;)

Boyle can make all the throws, is a very good scrambler and runner, and has the confidence and poise of a winner. Iowa already has a 4 star qb in the 2015 class so would love to see us be the first to offer Boyle.

I would take this kid in a second. He is a better high school QB than Arnaud ever was, and I don't think it's close. I don't know how his measurables project to FBS, but he seems to have the "it" factor. I really want this guy to be a Cyclone.

The good thing is that he has some experience being recruited, seeing as he's playing at Dowling :jimlad:

Rohach was an Elite 11 QB. Wonder if this kid will get an invite. He's got some good schools recruiting him, so perhaps the potential is there.

Good year for ISU to jump on this kid. I don't think he gets an Iowa offer. If he does, it won't be at QB.

Agree 100%. It pains me to say this as I'm an Ankeny guy, but I think Boyle was better as a junior than Lanning was as a senior, at least at the uni-dome. He really put on a show up there and I can't believe he hasn't got some good d-1 offers already.

I heard from a guy whose kid goes to Dowling and is good friends with Boyle. Apparently Iowa is giving him some good looks as well.

I thought the Elite 11 was only California and there were about 40 QB's invited and he didn't make the cut for the Elite 11, but I don't know a whole lot about high school football stuff.

I'm 100% sure they are recruiting him. I just don't know if he will get the offer at the QB spot is all. They may offer him at another position, but they got the guy they wanted at QB for the '15 class, and I don't think they would take another QB.

Iowa picked up a 4-star QB this year. Might have bigger needs to fill.
