I'm a huge U2 fan so i'm giddy about them getting another album out. They are probably my favorite band of all time. Bono is genius.

This. U2's last good album came out 10 years ago (All That You Can't Leave Behind), and the last ones before that were 19 (Achtung Baby) and 23 (Joshua Tree) years ago. All the ones in between were crap.

Maybe this means they're due for a good one?

You joke? Bono is not even one of the better vocalist in music. The Edge is right up there with guitarists in my book. U2 as a collective, pretty meh.

And once they are off he jumps into his private jet and heads off to one of his mansions. The guy doesn't live what he preaches, I don't understand how he doesn't get called out on it more.

Thats your opinion, yes. But most of the rest of the world disagrees with you. Both bands sell out every show in about 7 minutes. Most places they play hold about 25,000+ people.

Alot of people liked their music. They made millions doing what they did. I have respect for that.

Selling out a 25,000 person stadium doesn't constitute a majority in terms of nearly 7 billion people on the planet.
