I didn't consider myself superstitious, but last year my wife gave me a red Iowa State polo for the basketball season. I started wearing it for the home games, and I quickly realized that we were winning all of them. Obviously I decided it would make sense to wear it to every home game since it was "lucky". Then the Kansas game came, and it was a Golden Rules game. I was torn if I should follow my tradition and stand out or join the masses. Against my better judgement I did not wear my lucky red polo, and I think the only reasonable explanation to the end of the Kansas game was that the superstition gods were punishing me and the rest of Cyclone Nation for my transgression. For that I apologize.
Anyway, I wonder if anyone else has some game day superstitions?
