Anyone else been seeing the commercial with ISU football coach Danny Mac and UI coach Quirky Kirk on Channel 13 in the morning? I think it is the Carlos O'Kelly's toys for tots one from obviously a few years ago. Had to sit there for a second and see if there was a punchline at the end if the commercial, but none. Great job of Channel 13! The producer is either a huge Coach Mac fan or lives under a rock.

It was a throwback. At the beginning of the commercial it said 2004. The commercial was shown on another TV inside the commercial.
There was a Toy's for Tots commercial that was on for the past 2 weeks talking about how they were going to air old commercials this season. You must of missed that.

Hopefully they know well enough not to show a throwback commercial with Chiz, McDermett or Licklitter (for hawk fans). That would have the opposite effect and result in less people bringing in toys and maybe even some breaking into Applebees/Carlos to steal toys back.
