Donít know if anyone has posted this yet, but Josh Lenz had a great night last night in Dubuque Hempsteadís season opener against Iowa City West.
Lenz had 3 rushing TD's (37yd, 54 yd and 53 yd) while rushing 14 times for 212 yards. Lenz also helped to seal the 31-17 win for Dubuque Hempstead with an 86-yard punt return in the forth quarter!
Boy, before I was excited about this kid because our coaches offered him this early -- I figure he must be good. Now I'm excited about him, too, because of his demonstrated electrifying play.
Sounds like an absolutely great kid, on and off the field. What a terrific addition to our Cyclone family. (I'm certain I'm not alone in this, but I love to see a kid walk well in the greater world as much as see him run well on the field.)

Anyways, those 3 big runs tells me he has a different gear of speed than anyone else on the field. Me likey!!
Just remember that Jason Scales used to have an extra gear from anyone else on the field--at a similar level of competition. Let's all wait until we see him in a Cyclone uniform (or at least running a 10.6 100m ) to get too excited.
A thought I was reminded of last night by another poster (you want cred here, ISUFan22?).
