Iowa plays at 11 AM damn near every weekend. I should see if they ***** this much about it.
Of course we don't. But that's because everyone knows Hok fans all work 3rd shift unloading trucks at Walmart. Toss some boxes around for awhile, buy a cube of 'Stones after work and go get ****ed up. That's how you do it son.
I am not a fan of 11:00AM kicks only because I drive 2 hours to get there and it is harder to justify bringing the RV. I think I will do it a little different for this game and camp the night before in the vet med lot. For years I have said I want to try that experience and haven't.
Also, when I was a student I don't know how many games I pulled all nighters and so that I could be in the lot tailgating at 5AM. Now they have a great thing called Red bull that makes this easier. After the game you can take a 3 hour rest and then hit Welch. Seriously, I don't know why so many people are complaining. Those days were awesome.
Really. If you can't throw some breakfast burritos on the grill and get sufficiently liquored up by 11AM, you're not trying that hard. And having lots of time to sit and tailgate (or go to a bar/restaurant/friend's place) after the game is a much better way to get over a loss than getting home late, sulking, and then going to bed.
The issue is that it's hard to wake up after a Friday of sufficient boozing. Not that it has stopped me yet.
Sue me for not wanting to get up and stand around a bunch of dumb***** like you with a beer in my hand. Can get my fill of that on friday night at the bars.
Circumventing the language filter. Nice. Well I certainly hope you don't regret missing out on the tailgating experience as a student, because it's not the same as it was when you graduate, although still a good time. One less loner in the corner drinking a zima is fine by me.
