Not sure how many of you remember him from his days at ISU but here is a good read on him as he begins his 61st season coaching football. I've had the pleasure of being with him going on 9 years. He has some awesome stories to tell about his time at ISU. Fun Fact- He was in East Dubuque at the same time as a young bball coach was getting his start there. Bruce began a relationship with Jim through camps and the college football recruiting process due to the many players the Maroons were producing under his tutelage. Bruce landed the Ohio State job a few years later and Donnie Duncan came in from Oklahoma as the new Cyclone coach and his first hire was to keep Williams on the staff as the offensive line coach and the assistant head coach."

I as on the 1996 and 97 Simpson teams that he coached and coached for a couple of years with him as an assistant. The guy is an amazing coach ho does a great job of both motivating and understanding his players. He is very old school. The Wisconsin Whitewater win was an amazing game.
A couple years ago when you put that website up I pulled it up for him after a meeting one Sunday. We spent almost an hour going through just those and he was sharing tons of stories of guys in the pics. Clarence Hudson's son was our QB a few years ago and went to play WR at Army for a year before transferring back to Drake.
