Another classic example of their "big brother" complex...
(At least they give Chizik some credit for assembling the best part of the class based on his name)
Gotta love it!

Do you think this is our best recruiting class ever? I think it sums up the situation pretty well. We have a low ranked class except for a few big names.

IMO, what we fans should really be focusing on is whether or not the class meets the immediate needs of this team. We could have a great recruiting class by others' standards, but if those recruits don't fill the holes, it really doesn't matter much.
Based upon the short time Chizik had and the areas on our team that needed attention, I am rather pleased with the results.
I'll focus less on the recruiting day results and more on the game day results! |

I aslo enjoyed the "Philip Bates chose ISU so he could keep the dream alive," snip. Thats right husker recruits! Nebraska is a graveyard where dreams go to die. Remeber when Chizik comes calling. |

I agree and I really believe that Chizik did go after the needs of the team at OL, DL, RB, & CB. I think some of these guys will really end up coming through big time. ISU will still have some holes and some of the JUCO's won't work out but I really believe this team will be much better then "going through the motions" team that we saw last year. |

That title falls squarely on New Jersey. When I think of Knebraska what comes to mind is either bellybutton lint or that lower chest hair caught between the rolls...

I also can see where Cyclones would be offended for the way the writer put it at the end that another bad recruiting class puts us in the basement of the Big XII for years to come. We may have been in the basement for this last year, but it kind of insinuates we have been there for awhile. And the way they defend all the players who chose ISU over Nebraska sounds like sorry excuses. And yes I know that there is also truth to those, but they just sound like whiny excuses the way they wrote it.
