The Boss coming to Ames
Bruce Springsteen to Hit Campaign Trail for Barack Obama | Music News | Rolling Stone
Not for a full show, but campaigning for Obama. Guessing there will at least be some performance....

Awesome, does anyone know the time or location?
Never mind I found it. 1PM at Hilton, tickets available at Obama campaign offices and in the free speech zone in front of the library starting tomorrow.

Always knew Bruce was a bright guy.

My favorite Bruce springsteen is the one where he sings about the plight of the blue collar worker.

They still have the Free Speech Zone? I always stayed blissfully in the muzzled speech area.

If he was supporting anyone other than BHO, I would go. Does he pay his fair share?

I can't imagine anyone more disconnected from the real world than rock stars and actors. Why does anyone care what they think?

I like when he sings about the blue collar man and the failings of the human heart.
Don't like that he tries to project that onto governance. Not bright....just bleeding. Tired of the partisanship and social sanctimony. We all love puppies and poor people....now can we move on?
