Paddy's and Sips seem to be having problems

No issues with Mickey's at the moment, all is well in the world.

hike your dresses up ladies, are we complaining about bathrooms in college bars? OMG Becky...I agree with bringing back Lumpy's/Peoples. Those were "bathrooms", heck the Peoples toilets leaked down into lumpys from the ceiling, and you didnt even have to get up from your table to pee at lumpys.

I will not stand by and let people talk ill of Lumpys. But yes, you didn't have to get off your stool to pee or puke.

Also college bar bathrooms aren't supposed to be clean.

This shouldn't surprise anyone, those places give new meaning to "being a dump". Funny thing is that all the really dumpy places in campustown are pretty much owned by the same guy; SIPS, Paddy's, Cy's Roost, and Outlaws are all owned by Andrew White if I'm not mistaken.

The first inspection of Sips done by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals took place Sept. 11. Prior to September, the city of Ames was in charge of the inspections.

So the state takes over inspections and 2 of this guy's bars get shut down within a month?

Sounds to me like somebody was gettin' paid.

This doesn't surprise me in Sips, but it does a little in Paddy's. Obviously its the same building and everything, it just always seemed that Paddy's was in better shape.

Plus, **** rolls downhill.
