According to a source, Iowa State gained its 14th verbal commitment for its 2013 recruiting class on Sunday.

Lake Wales, Fla. cornerback Dedric Brinson is that man. Brinson, who has good size at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, officially visited Iowa State last weekend. He chose the Cyclones over Indiana, Wake Forest, Central Florida and Marshall to name a few.

Brinson is the fourth defensive back to commit to Iowa State's 2013 class. He is the second commitment of the weekend, as punter Colin Downings made his pledge to the Cyclones on Friday afternoon.
