Chris Williams

Based off of yesterday's meeting of Big 12 athletic directors, I thought it was appropriate to throw together a links compilation today. Here's some reading material for your Tuesday morning.

--- To sum yesterday up, the Big 12 still wants to explore alliances with other conferences, namely the ACC, before doing anything brash. Chuck Carlton of the Dallas Morning News has more.

--- Jeremy Fowler writes that the Big 12 discussed a lot of "what ifs" yesterday, specifically which schools the Big Ten and the SEC might target should those leagues decide to expand once again. ---

--- A strong column by Dennis Dodd, who writes that an alliance between the Big 12 and the ACC makes a lot of sense. ---

--- Predictably, the Big 12's basketball coaches toed the company line in yesterday's teleconference when it comes to expansion. --- The Oklahoman

--- If you missed it yesterday, here's my take on the current state of the Big 12. --- Cyclone Fanatic

On Iowa State/Big 12 Basketball...

Might as well throw some Cyclone hoops links in this bad boy right?

--- Fred Hoiberg hit the recruiting trail last Saturday night. --- Cyclone Fanatic

--- Video coverage from yesterday's press conference featuring Hoiberg, Will Clyburn, Tyrus McGee and Korie Lucious. --- Cyclone Fanatic

--- More details on this players-only meeting that Korie Lucious through on Friday night...--- Cyclone Fanatic

--- The Cyclones could be going with a smaller lineup more often going forward writes Travis Hines.--- Ames Tribune

--- The 14-4 Iowa State women's basketball team shouldn't have to worry about being on the bubble for this year's NCAA Tournament writes Cody Westerland. --- Ames Tribune
