Report: Diallo sets Iowa State visit

Iowa State will receive an official visit from one of the top basketball prospects in the country. 

According to Adam Zagoria at, Cheick Diallo will make his way to Ames on Sept. 26, the same weekend that football will host the Baylor Bears. 

Diallo, who ranks as the fifth-best prospect in the country, will also visit St. John’s on Oct. 18. Kansas, Kentucky and Pittsburgh are also major players in his recruitment. 

Diallo, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward, is a Centereach, N.Y. prospect.
