Report: Seneca Wallace’s cousin commits to the Cyclones

According to the Denton Record-Chronicleand Scout.com, a safety out of Guyer High School in Denton, Texas has verbally committed to Iowa State.

His name just happens to be Jordan Wallace. Yes, as in the second-cousin of Iowa State great Seneca Wallace.

“I get to follow in his footsteps," Wallace told the Record-Chronicle. "Big 12 football is what I want to play. I like that style. Growing up in Texas, that’s what you know.”

Scout.com currently lists Wallace at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. He camped at Iowa State this past weekend where he received an offer.

Iowa State was the first and only school to offer Wallace, who recorded 86 tackles during his junior season. Wallace is the sixth-known commitment within Iowa State’s 2015 class.
