According to his Twitter feed (@ShowTimeMr), Rashad Vaughn will make his college decision this weekend.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard out of Findlay Prep in Las Vegas narrowed his list to five schools back in December. Along with Iowa State, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky and UNLV were in Vaughn’s top five.

Vaughn, who ranks as the seventh best prospect in the class of 2014, officially visited Iowa State in November.

The timing of this announcement appears to be favorable for the Cyclones. Vaughn was previously scheduled to visit North Carolina in a week. Iowa State and UNLV are the only programs that have received official visits from Vaughn.

On his official visit to Iowa State, Vaughn told reporters that he planned on taking all five officials before making a decision.

Of course, we’ll be all over this developing story from now until Vaughn’s decision day, right here at
