Rankings Recap: Cyclones rise two spots in each poll

After going 2-0 last week with wins over Texas and at TCU, Iowa State (21-5, 9-5) move up in both of America’s major college basketball polls on Monday. 

The Cyclones improved two spots to No. 15 in the AP Top 25

Meanwhile, Iowa State went from 19th to 17th in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll.

*** Iowa State is currently ranked sixth in the RPI. Iowa State has played the sixth toughest schedule in America according to

*** ESPN has Iowa State as a 4-seed in its latest Bracketology

*** Jerry Palm, however, has Iowa State projected as a 3-seed.
