George lands on Butkus Award Watch List

It’s Watch List season.

Iowa State’s senior linebacker Jeremiah George landed on the Butkis Award Watch List on Monday afternoon according to a university press releease. 

The Butkus Award is given annually to the best linebacker in college football and is named after NFL legend Dick Butkus. 

George started nine games last season for Iowa State, racking up 87 tackles along the way.
