When looking ahead to the fall, there might not be a more intriguing position on the Iowa State football team to discuss than wide receiver. Depth shouldn’t be a problem for Iowa State. In a group that features plenty of questions, depth shouldn’t be an issue for the Cyclones with nearly a dozen players set to compete for playing time when fall camp rolls around.

In today’s installment of CFTV’s Position Focus series, Chris Williams and Austen Arnaud focus on Iowa State’s new look wide receivers for the 2012 football season.

Chris was hired as Cyclone Fanatic’s publisher in the fall of 2009. He has also written for the Des Moines Register, the Ames Tribune, CycloneReport.com and is the former sports director at KMA Radio. When Williams isn’t working, you can usually find him doing something outdoors with his wife Ashley, daughter Camryn, and Golden Retriever Dierks. He enjoys golfing, boating, country music, the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Braves and is passionate about any and all motor sports so finding Williams at a local dirt track is very common.
