According to his AAU coach Brian Beard, Stoneridge Prep (Calif.) basketball prospect Norvel Pelle will not make his previously scheduled official visit to Iowa State this weekend due to a family emergency.

Pelle, a 6-foot-9 prosepct in the class of 2012, claims offers from Iowa State UConn, San Diego State, UNLV, LSU and UTEP.

In a text message that Beard sent me this morning, he said that Pelle was looking forward to his visit and that he plans on getting to campus “very soon.”

We’ll keep you updated.
